A/B Testing is a method of simultaneously measuring two components from your website to find which component performs best. Here, the website traffic is split between two entirely different versions of a web page, one of which being a “champion” and another being a “challenger” page. A heat map is a graphical representation of a web page, indicating the areas of a web page that people mostly look at. This is normally done by showing the most popular parts of a web page in “red” and least popular in “blue”. It provides you with an understanding of how visitors travel through web pages and what parts of pages they tend to look at first.
