What is MockingFish

MockingFish is a web optimization and testing tool which allows web marketers, online business enterpreneurs and product managers to perform A/B tests. Being an easy to use testing tool, it allows websites to load faster, have a user friendly layout and eventually increase conversion rate on the website.

Apart from having improved sales and conversion rates, MockingFish proves to be beneficial while creating multiple variations of your website’s landing pages and then check which version produces maximum conversions or sales. MockingFish equally divides your website’s traffic among different variations to check which one performs better.

A/B Testing

A/B Testing is a method of simultaneously measuring two components from your website to find which component performs best. Here, the website traffic is split between two entirely different versions of a web page, one of which being a “champion” and another being a “challenger” page. It is also used to track ROI and highlight areas that could benefit from usability improvements.

Heatmap

A heat map is a graphical representation of a web page, indicating the areas of a web page that people mostly look at. This is normally done by showing the most popular parts of a web page in “red” and least popular in “blue”. It provides you with an understanding of how visitors travel through web pages and what parts of pages they tend to look at first.
